Check your own ring:
We use the UK ring sizing chart. The easiest way to find your correct size is by using your existing UK or EU ring size. If you're unsure of your size but have a ring at home that fits well, simply measure the inside diameter in millimetres (to the nearest mm) — that measurement will help determine your ring size.

Paper Strip Method
If you don’t have access to a ring or sizing tool, you can measure your finger using a simple strip of paper. Here’s how:
- Cut a strip of paper approximately 2–3mm wide and about 150mm long.
- Wrap the paper around the finger you'd like to size, ensuring it’s snug but not tight — just how you'd want the ring to fit.
- Mark the point where the end of the paper overlaps to form a full circle. This gives you the circumference of your finger.
- Measure the length from the edge of the paper to your mark using a ruler (in millimetres).
- Find your size by matching the measured circumference to the nearest size on our ring sizing chart.
Use the measurement to find your UK ring size on our sizing chart.
JEWELLERY CARE
Stainless Steel Jewellery Care
Our waterproof jewellery is made from high-quality stainless steel and coated with a durable PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) gold finish. This long-lasting coating is more resistant to fading and tarnishing, making it ideal for everyday wear.
To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend the following:
- Avoid chemicals: Perfume, hairspray, lotions, sunscreen, and household cleaners can weaken the protective layer. Apply these products before putting on your jewellery, and let them dry fully.
- Clean gently: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe away dirt, oils, or water spots.
- Store smart: When not in use, keep your jewellery in a our pouch or separate compartment to avoid scratches and preserve the finish.
With just a little care, your waterproof jewellery will stay beautiful and durable for years to come.
Caring for Your 925 Sterling Silver Jewellery
Caring for Your 925 Sterling Silver Jewellery
925 sterling silver is a much-loved material for its versatility, durability, and timeless beauty. However, like all precious metals, it can tarnish or corrode over time.
Why does sterling silver tarnish?
Tarnishing (also called oxidation) happens when sterling silver comes into contact with oxygen or sulfur, causing the metal to darken. This is completely natural and can be reversed with proper care.
At Another Mai, our sterling silver jewellery is crafted to a purity level of 92.5% (0.925) — the standard for high-quality silver.
How to Care for Your Jewellery
To keep your Another Mai jewellery looking its best, we recommend the following:
General Care Tips
- Store it smart: When not in use, store each piece separately in a small, airtight plastic bag to minimise exposure to air and reduce tarnishing.
- Avoid contact with chemicals: Keep your jewellery away from hairspray, perfume, lotions & household cleaners.
- Remove before activities: Take off your jewellery before swimming, sunbathing, working out, applying makeup, or using cleaning products.
- Wear it often: Surprisingly, wearing your sterling silver jewellery regularly can help prevent tarnish — the natural oils from your skin actually help keep it clean.
Cleaning Your Jewellery
- Quick clean: Use a soft microfibre cloth to gently buff away light tarnish.
- Deep clean: For hard-to-reach spots, mix a little dish soap with warm water and gently scrub using a soft toothbrush.
If your sterling silver jewellery ever tarnishes, a quick solution is to use a silver dip cleaner and it is reversaable!
